Programs to Help SMEs In PNG

Australian Business Volunteer (ABV) is a Non Profit Organization founded in 1981 commenced operations as an initiative of the Australian Government. ABV in partnership with Bank South Pacific started it’s “your enterprise scheme” (YES) programme in Port Moresby .
According to BSP, this partnership collaborated to develop and provide tailored business skills development for small businesses and entrepreneurs through YES.
ABV started YES for selected BSP small-medium enterprises (SMEs) customers, aimed at providing business skills by way of facilitating mentoring sessions and workshops for participants.
BSP deputy general manager customer experience and support Peter Boutcher said: “BSP has always supported economic growth through the support of SMEs in PNG.
“This training is a strong and practical investment that will support our small business customers in the region.
“This programme will be the first of six programmes rolled out.
